Isekai

The term “Isekai” refers to the Japanese language meaning “other world” or an alternate universe. The term itself is used to define a genre of animation often with the plot of a boring normal main character that accidentally falls into a portal that leads towards a new fantasy world. I’ve always been a huge fan of fantasy and the endless possibilities and happiness it can bring to a person, but it sometimes can also keep you away from the responsibilities and pressure that reality puts on you. This project is about the cycle of escapism portrayed through a mirror using photo manipulation and reductionism.
