Synesthetic

The goal for this project was to achieve “synesthesia,” having the ability to hear or feel colors, and using the combination of real-life observations to achieve that synesthetic look. This was me trying to understand how a person with synesthesia would feel about certain colors in certain settings. These thematic sets of portraits are a compilation of combining shape, color, and texture to achieve a certain surreal abstract mood using the in-camera double exposure technique.
